| Mar. 23rd, 2007 07:57 pm I'm back!!!! It's been a while, I know. Some of you may remember I left for a while because I was pregnant. My daughter, Nina Rose was born on March 6th 2007, at 3:11am via c-section. She weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 18 1/2 inches klong at birth. She is absolutly beautiful. I am still recovering and after my 6 week check up I am having a surgery to remove my thyriod, it is cancerous. I am also have hypothyroidism and am on meds for it, which have caused me to lose all of my 27 pregnancy pounds. I cant wait to go back to the gym and work off this jiggly tummy. Thats about it for me. I should be keeping track of what I eat, but I havent wanted to eat much, and I try to eat as healthy as possible. As soon as I am able I am going back to Weight Watchers. Anyways I should be going to bed, sleep when the baby sleeps! Current Mood: chipper

| Jul. 26th, 2006 11:35 am Hello everyone! I got a friendly little nudge so I thought I would come by and let everyone know how I am doing.
My pregnancy is progressing nicely. I am 9 weeks 3 days along. I have been sick so the doctor had to give me dramamine and Vitamin B6 and now I feel much better. I lost a few pounds. It seems to be easier to lose the weight while pregnant, and if I werent pregnant I would be enjoying the weight lose. I try to eat healthy for the baby, but usually I eat what ever taste good. Nothing much else is going on. I just woke up like an hour ago so Im gonna go take a shower. My husband and I are looking at houses today since our appartment is WAY too small for us now that we have a new little person on the way. Current Mood: chipper

I just found out that I am pregnant and expecting a child in February, so I am about 5 weeks 5 days along. So I wonbt be updating to this journal for a while. | Jun. 1st, 2006 09:54 pm Okay so I have neglected my food journal for a while. Rest asure my friends I HAVE been keeping a food journal on SparkPeople.com. Unfortunatly I have been sabotaging myself AGAIN. I was down to 159 for like 2 days, said "OO I can cheat its okay" and Im back up to 162. YUCK. So Ive been working out more. Today I jumped on the treadmil for 30 minutes, the exercise bike for 10 and did 9 different strenght exersices. I also drank 9 glasses of water and have eaten 1390 calories!! So Im doing pretty good today. Yesterday I rode the exercise bike for 10 minutes, treadmil for 30, ate 1434 calories and drank 8 glasses of water. Im trying to get back on track. I already have lunch and breakfast planned for tomorrow, and made too! Anyway I am off to bed.
Oh and on the Thyroid note, its not the T4 cells its something else but they are not sure so Im getting it ultra sound on it soon. So Ill keep you updated! Current Mood: chipper

| May. 25th, 2006 10:27 pm So yesterday the Doctor called me back and told me that I have low T4 cells, my thyroid is abnormal and I have to call my primary care Doctor and have him tell me what I should do. This was all left as a message for me so I want able to ask her questions. What does low T4 cells me? Is that why I am heavy, or is it keeping me from being REALLY huge, as my father said. But I think he was being dumb.
I think Im okay with having this problem. Now I know that I wasnt doing anything wrong, I really was trying and that all this weight is not because Im lazy or unmotivated. It maybe a little, but maybe once I go on the meds, if I go on meds, everything will even on out. Of course I was so excited about that possibility I grabbed candy yesterday and told my best friend "Its okay I can have it, I have a thyroid problem." Yeah it didnt work.
I worked out on the bike for 30 minutes, and ate 1400 calories today. Current Mood: sleepy

| May. 24th, 2006 11:42 am So I went and got an annual physical today. My husband is in the Navy so I FINALLY broke down and went to the Doctor on base. She checked my thyroid and aparently its a bit large so I had to have blood taken. That was not fun. My husband says I made a fool of myself, crying and whimpering. It hurt and I was not happy about it. But I have good vains. So the thyroid might explain why I have always had a weight issue. I dont eat that badly and I exercise alot. But I am not going to the gym today, my arm is on fire. Current Mood: crappy

| May. 23rd, 2006 09:27 pm Today is my 2nd wedding anniversary. I tried to be good. And I only went over my calories by 13. So I am happy about that! At least I think its only 13, I dont always measure right. But I threw out 1/2 of a candy bar today. I didnt need/want the rest of it.
I unfortunatly have fallen into a rut latly. After seeing the 159 on the scale I thought, hey lets eat what we awant for a while, it wont hurt. I am back up to 162. For two weeks I have been trying to be good, thats how long it has been since 159, but I cant seem to get my snacking under control I buy low fat foods and veggies and fruit, but then I eat more then I should of them. Or I make/ buy things for my husband, like the Chocolate pie thats in the frigde that I had a slice of and he hasnt. We had ribs for our anniversary because he likes ribs. I ate more than he did. I dont know why. Half the time Im not even hungry. I just need the taste.
So I jumped on the exercise bike today and did that for 30 minutes. And I did weights and crunches. And drank NINE glasses of water.
GAH Weight issues suck! Current Mood: bitchy

| May. 16th, 2006 06:14 pm I have been sooo bad about updating my food intake here. Last week I was soo off and just ate everything in sight, but I tried not to go over 2,000 calories. And I worked out alot. The weather has been so bad here, its been raing for 7 days straigfht. Anyway here is my food intake for today.
Breakfast: 3/4 cup Special K: 83 1/2 cup milk :46 1/2 banana: 63 Lunch: 2 slices rye bread: 166 1 tbsp Miracle whip: 37 3 slices tomato: 13 1 lettuce leaf: 1 2 slices cucumber: 2 1 slice roast beef: 7 1 slice provolone cheese: 100 5 carrots: 15 Dannon light and fit: 45 fruit leather: 45 pickle: 24 Mint: 29 Kiwi:46 Starbucks coffee: 190 Dinner: Cheese salsa sauce: 40 Salsa: 18 Lean beef 3.5 oz: 158 Tostitos light, 28 grams: 90 Sargento Mex. cheese: 110 Taco seasoning: 15

| May. 10th, 2006 05:36 pm I ate more tioday. An ice cream sandwhich for 180 calories, a peice of Provolone cheese for 100 calories and a 90 calorie Special K bar. Bringin my total of cALORIES to over 2,000. And I still want to eat...GAH!!! Normally I would just say screw it but I went bad yesterday too. Im going to go fix myself some veggies and stop eating after that. Current Mood: cranky

I went to lunch wiyth my friend and I *thought* I was doing good with what I was eating. Apparently not. Im out of calories, but Im still going to need to eat dinner, I just got off the exersise bike. I went grocery shopping today and bought TONS of veggies. Lettuce, tomatos, carrots, asparugus, squash and zucchini. Im goign to have yto gfo to another store to find Bean sprots. I already have some of my meals for tomorrow planned, so I just have to get back on that wagon tomorrow. Because I weighed myself yesterday and I weigh 159!!! One more pound and I will have lost 5 pounds and I get a *prize*!! A new pair of cheap summer sandles! Current Mood: blah

I also went to the gym today. I walked on the treadmil for 30 minutes, did 40 crunches on the ball, did arm weights, 15 on each arm with 15 pound weights and 20 french curls, same amount of weights. And I did leg weights, 8o pounds 60 all together of those.
AND!!! The most exciting thing is I ate dinner really slow, drank water with it, and couldnt finish it all1 I had to throw out about an eighth of a cup of what I had mixed together. I am very pleased with myself and have drank 9 cups of water today! I have 105 calories left for the rest of the day but I dont know if I will eat them.

| May. 6th, 2006 07:27 pm Yesterday I ate 2 candy bars. Cookies, sweets, you name it, I ate it. Today I had 1 donut. My friends and I, 4 of us, bought 1 dozen we had a coupon for 1 dozen free if we bought 1 dozen. So I came home with 6. Ate one, said "I am NOT EATING THESE!" AND gave the rest to my dad. Im please with myself. But I have eaten 1,607 calories already today and I havent had dinner yet. My husband wants to go out when he comes back from work, but Im not that hungry. I'll go and probably have a salad or something small. Current Mood: bored

| May. 3rd, 2006 01:21 pm "Its a very good thing I dont have my car right now. The check engine light was on so I took it to Midas and I hit the side of the building..again. So my husband and I got in a HUGE fight, I left the car there, I need new spark plugs. If my car where he..." This is what I started to type at 12:30pm. I was saying how glad I was I couldnt drive because I needed ice cream. I was also going to say that I have eaten the following: Breakfast: 1 slim fast shake: 180 Lunch: 4 oz lamb: 152 Asparagus, 10 spears: 28 Cheese: 72 Snakc: Blue bunny ice cream bar: 180. Which would have left me with 938 calories for the rest of the day. But Midas called and I picked up my car. Then I ran to the mall and gfot my wedding/engagment rings checked for their 6 month check up. The dimonds are loose on my engagment ring, the warrenty was expired, so I had to pay $70 to get that fixed. Then I went and bought charlie pie...ice cream coffee pie, mud pie...GOOD PIE. pROBABLY 1000 CALORIES. i SHOULD CARE. bUT TODAY SUCKED! bACK ON THE WAGON TOMORROW. I have weight to lose. So I have 88 calories left for the rest of the evening. I did 60 sit ups this moring and some leg stretches. I have at this point drank 7 glasses of water. So I am going to go ride the exercise bike and do some arm weights and drink some more water. And even with my big snacks, when I stepped on the scale today, in the afternoon, it was at 160! I started at around 163-164 last week! I am soo proud of myself. So Im not losing momentum now! Current Mood: ecstatic

| Apr. 28th, 2006 10:32 pm I was sooooo bad today. I started out great, Slim Fast for Breakfast, part of my dinner from last night for lunch, then I got a cinnemen roll with a Tall Caramel Macchiato. Then I ate cheese and two small parts of an eggplant wrap. And three oreos. And a Ckicken salad, with ranch dresssing. But I didnt eat the pizza. And id ditn exercise, or drink all my water. But looking at it all, I ddint do too bad. I just have to work hard again tomorrow. Current Mood: gloomy

| Apr. 27th, 2006 07:01 pm Joe, my wonderful husband took me to the Outback for dinner. I got the Cyclone Pasta chicken. But I only ate a tiny portion of it before I was full. And I got a side order of brocolli with it which is what I filled up on, and the lettuce from joe's salad. And I only ate two small peices of bread. So here is my food break down for today for everyones veiwing pleasure. I had to break down dinner so that I could get calories for it, although I am sure online some where I could find the "real" calories for it all together.
Breakfast: Slim Fast Shake: 180 Lunch: 2 slices rye bread: 166 Cheese, mozzerralla 1 slice: 72 Roast beef, 1 slice, very thin: 7 lettuce, 1 leaf: 1 2 slices tomato: 3 6 carrots: 23 yogurt, light and fit: 45 Miracle whip: 37 Snack: Luna bar: 180 String Cheese: 50 Dinner: 2 oz pasta:75 3 oz Chicken:94 Alfredo sauce: 62 Lettuce: 4 Cheese: 107 Honey wheat bread: 128 1/2 tbsp butter: 7 6 croutons: 51 Broccolli: 55
